Beijing: Xinhua News Agency: China on Monday confirmed via on-site checks that India has withdrawn personnel and equipment from Dong Lang (Doklam) after a
military stand-of lasting more than two months (from June).
Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson M/s Hua Chunying said that Chinese (military) personnel completed the on-site check around 2:30 p.m., adding that China
will continue to safeguard its territorial sovereign according to historical boundary treaties (between China & India).
The Chinese government values its neighborly friendship with India, Hua said. It expect India to respect historical treaties and basic principles of international law,
and to work with China to safeguard peace and stability in the (international) border area on the basis of mutual respect of each other's territory sovereignty.

The war between India with its invading troops into China's territory has now seems to be averted and that India itself has "voluntarily" withdrawn its military
forces and the bull-dozer from Dong Lang which has always been Chinese territory since the Manchu Dynasty (1644-1920) when it ruled China.
India and China are both neighbours and as such should remain friendly and co-exist with one and another. The saying goes: It is easier to change friendship than
to change a neighbour.
China and India had been friendly and religiously near with one another because during China's Tang Dynasty, the monk Tang Sam Chong went to India to
seek the knowledge of Buddha and brought this back to Tang China for the people which had endured to this day as evidence of Buddhist shrines and temples
throughout China.
Also during the reign of the North and South Dynasty of long ago in ancient China, the famous Indian monk Bodihdarma came to China and went to Henan
Province, Central China and at the famed Shaolin Monastry taught the Buddhist monks how to meditste and overcome their lethargy with s series of exercises
known in Yikgunkeng - to overcome tiredness after prolong meditation with the appropriate exercise taught by Bodihdarma and thus became the basis of
Shaolin Martial Arts to this day!
There had been many friendly exchange between the Indians and Chinese throughout Chinese history.
And as friendly neighbours there shouldn't have been maintaining adversarial attitude between the two ancient civilization.
Thus the move with Indian military withdrawing its personnel from Chinese soil which it had occupied illegal have now saved the day so that China and India
had avoided an unnecessary war along the English-marked border called McMahon Line.
Three cheers and salute to both China and India for adverting a war in which it could be avoided.
