The mentality and trainability of primates are closely match to that of human beings.
Birds in and around airports worldwide are posing an increasing risk to modern airplanes and there are many incidents in which
planes crashed before or after takeoff due to the birds being sucked into the planes' engines.
So the Chinese air force personnel comes out with the novel idea of employing well-trained rhesus macaque monkeys to remove
the troublesome birds' nests in trees which are near or around the nation's airport to lessen the incidence of air accidents cause by
colliding residential birds.
Below is a series of pictures showing how the Chinese rhesus macaque monkeys go about their business of removing birds' nests
with intelligence and innovative style and being rewarded by the handlers after a hard day's work at the airport.
